Chipping really starts to show how important the right processes are with regards Focus of attention and gaze control to get into the Mushin.  (How well does the FocusBand mushin audio bio-feedback work?  I got this on the first take!!)

We run through the process used to get into the mushin State. You will see the mushin meter go down when I am in a mushin state 
Tiger Zone - Tiger Woods explains his peak performance zone.  His explanation is how the FocusBand works.

"When I would come down and stay with at the Junior World Championships, we do some sessions which is pretty cool, of how it helped me understand a different part of my creativity

I couldn’t fathom someone saying, visualize the golf shot

When I visualize I see this ball going every which way, my creative mind would not see a golf shot doing this or this. My mind would not let me do that, it would be all over the place . YOUR MIND, THAT IS YOUR  CONSCIOUS MIND, WILL BE ALL OVER THE PLACE IF YOU HAVE NOT LEARNED TO FOCUS AND USE YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND

So he said I want you to feel it, use you hands, your fingers, your body awareness to harness your creative activity that way, and come up with an answer, and he was very instrumental in teaching me how to control my creative mind

I tend to have these black-out moments, where I don’t remember. I know I was there, but I don’t remember actually performing the golf shot. IN THE ZONE – LOSS OF FEELING OF SELF CONSCIOUSNESS

Coach - The athlete in the peak performance zone, is really in a heightened state of awareness, MAYBE REDUCED STATE OF AWARENESS and absorbed focus, there is an element of relaxation response that goes on in there, and they are always in the here and now, with a kind of a clear uncluttered mind, absorbed in the moment, letting the performance happen, rather than thinking about – or helping the performance happen
